The candidate should have a strong background in finite element analysis (FEA), structural mechanics, and software testing methodologies. Candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and working closely with development teams to improve product quality.Job ResponsibilitiesDefine test strategies and create comprehensive test plans.Generate, execute, and automate test cases for MSC Nastran and CAEFatigue based on test plans.Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test reports, and defect logs.Collaborate with Development and Product Management teams to understand and implement new requirements in an agile framework.Support new features with real-world models from customers to ensure robust testing.Utilize defect tracking tools to report, track, and verify the resolution of defects.Ensure all deliverables meet established Product Quality Metrics and Guidelines.Technical Skills:Advanced knowledge of commercial finite element packages (e.g., CAEFatigue, nCode, FEMFAT, Nastran, Patran).Expertise in fatigue analysis.Strong exposure to Pre- and Post-Processing tools such as HyperMesh, Abaqus GUI, and Ansys.Proficiency in Python scripting for automation.Problem-Solving and Collaboration:Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet challenging deadlines.Highly motivated and a strong team player.Preferred Skills:Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.QualificationsGraduate/Postgraduate degree in Mechanical, Applied Mechanics, Civil, or Aerospace Engineering.Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in CAE service industries, with a focus on linear projects and fatigue analysis in automotive, aerospace, or heavy industries.Hands-on experience with commercial finite element packages, including CAEFatigue, nCode, FEMFAT, Nastran, Patran, Ansys, and Ansa.
