About you and this role

Defines work process and system solutions, including strategy and design, through collaboration with global peers, regional teams and business and functional stakeholders. Ensures adherence to compliance and regulatory requirements and provides ongoing training, support and design enhancements across strategic solutions utilized by our partners. Leads a team of global and regional Business Process Experts and collaborates with other Business Process Teams both within and outside of ISC as well as counterparts within the I/S organization. Acts as the most senior subject matter expert responsible for providing deep functional and SAP user expertise for work processes, applications and products aligned with and/or utilized by (WORKSTREAM/SUB-PROCESS). Serves as a first line leader for a team of both professional individual contributors and administrative, technical and/or operational supports employees. Has accountability for the performance and results of the team.

In this role, you will lead one or more teams of professionals and/or first-line leaders of operational support employees. You will need to have knowledge of the business operations within Integrated Supply Chain and fully understand how teams work together to achieve operational objectives. You should be able to guide and persuade others, both internally and externally, to adopt a different point of view.

It is your responsibility to be able to identify technical and operational problems and recognize and understand broader impacts across multiple teams within your discipline or functional area. You will need to be able to lead one or more similar teams of professional individual contributors within your discipline. You also may lead teams of technical operations, business operations, or operational support employees who may or may not have supervisors. You will set priorities and allocate resources to align with business objectives and plans of execution. Your work is guided by policies and departmental plan and your performance impacts your team\xe2\x80\x99s ability to achieve service, quality, and timeliness of objectives

Responsibilities

  • Defines strategy through collaboration with global peers, regional teams, business and functional stakeholders
  • Participates in business case development, providing input into benefits and strategic alignment of DSS opportunities utilizing business process knowledge and business / functional understanding
  • Drives inclusion of needed enhancements within the investment plan
  • Interfaces within DSS for system development and configuration, support and issue resolution of global requirements
  • Accountable to define, document and maintain Global Work Process and System Solutions, continuous improvements and manage the implementation of it across the globe
  • Facilitates training, mentoring, knowledge transfer and coaching of Global and Regional
  • Business Process Experts (BPX) to resolve issues, explain solutions, gather requirementchanges and insure knowledge transfer
  • Accountable to possess in-depth understanding and knowledge of the work process, systems, tools and metrics
  • Leads teams in support of Corporate initiatives and projects executed by the DSS organization, which may include requirements gathering, evaluation, testing set up and execution, data transition and migration activities, and implementation, including identification and escalation of issues to manage risk and ensure on time solution delivery
  • Monitors consistency between promised and delivered value to our customers
  • Identifies opportunities of new DSS systems and applications that have potential process improvements and/or efficiencies
  • Identifies gaps in Global Work Processes driven from external best practices and new
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor\'s degree is required. Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of combined experience in Purchasing, Sales/Marketing, M&E (Manufacturing & Engineering), and/or Supply Chain
  • People Leadership experience is preferred.
  • Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement certification.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Deep understanding of the India geography
  • Strong affinity for collaborating for superior results, delivering innovative solutions, leading courageously and generating customer value
  • Passion for people leadership
Preferred Skills
  • Requires strong influence management skills and understanding of business priorities.
  • Ability to persuade others (internal and external stakeholders) through effective communication skills and strong collaboration skills across Source-to-Pay colleagues and stakeholders.
  • An understanding of the region and its capabilities / global connect and presence and excellent data analytics & process knowledge.
  • Familiarity of leading improvement projects and having accountability for on-going activities or initiatives.
  • Exhibition of strong work ethic and responsiveness to facilitate excellent Customer Experience.
