Summary You will lead Business Development and Sales for the growth areas identified for the Durgapur Factory and will be responsible for getting orders for the Factory. You should be aware of the competition and the factors that will give the winning edge to Durgapur Factory in the market. You should have knowledge of the Oil & Gas, Metals and Fertilizer Industry with emphasis on Heat Exchanger, Column, Tank, Structural Steel, Reactors, Pressure Vessels, Cryogenic tanks etc. You should have extensive working experience with End Customers, EPC Contractors, Project Management Consultants and Technology Providers. Your Role: Utilizes your product and market knowledge to identify prospective customers for selling product(s), services, parts, solutions etc. Accountable for Order Booking , CM% and ITO cash. Work effectively in a team environment with Commercial Operations, Engineering , Finance, and Project management to ensure the most efficient use of all resources Maintain accurate and updated project and opportunity information with the Sales data base system and manage the Inquiry to Order (\'ITO\') process for assigned accounts Participate in and support growth campaigns, conferences etc. Have knowledge and analytical thinking to define the strategy for penetrating in new market space Acts as a source of updated market information for all stakeholders Have ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address market demand. Ability to prioritize information for stance taking. Uses internal and external sources for product and market intelligence Be able to create awareness among all internal & external stakeholders of the offerings of Durgapur Factory Be able to prepare technical documents including Product & Services (Factory capability) Brochures and any other knowledge sharing tools/documents Get the Durgapur Factory qualified and registered as supplier for target customers Required Qualifications Engineering Graduate from an accredited university or college with 12+ years of experience Previous experience in the Business Development and Sales Desired Characteristics Strong oral/ written communication skills and interpersonal skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems Ability to document, plan, market, and execute plans Familiarity with the machinery used in Agriculture, Food processing & Mining & Sugar Mills and knowledge of Piping and critical Piping will be an added advantage Exposure to Cement and Railway Industry will be advantageous and will enable to tap into the same for business prospects.
