Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

Company Description: Jobiva International, a recruitment startup, is working with 'Jehangir Clinical Development Centre (JCDC)' to source a suitable applicant for the role of Senior Business Development Manager JCDC is a fast growing, global, clinical-stage full service CRO. We provide end-to-end services for Phase I-IV Clinical Trials, Validation Studies, Real World Evidence (RWE) Studies and Biobanking Projects. To date we have successfully executed 350+ clinical projects.

Location: Pune, Maharashtra

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Responsibilities

Identifying opportunities with existing and new national and international clients and addressing their inquiries for end-to-end CRO services or individual services. Lead generation to enhance the pipeline of relevant enquiries.

Preparing project budgets in collaboration with internal teams and external vendors and preparing the client proposal.

Managing sales to ensure conversion of the leads. Meeting clients and leading the bid defense.

Identifying partnership opportunities

Building, nurturing, and expanding client relationships at senior levels. Managing relationships with customers on an ongoing basis.

Offering insights into general market trends and key competitors

Contributing to preparation of the annual business development plan and strategy.

Preparing and contributing to business collaterals e.g. slidedeck, brochures, material for website etc

Providing periodic updates of project status to the management and maintaining appropriate documentation.

Attending the periodic project status update meetings with the Sponsors and ensure smooth interactions

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Lifesciences or equivalent

8-10 years' prior Clinical Research industry related business development experience

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies

Focused and goal-oriented
