We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team in the geospatial industry . The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging their expertise in mapping and surveying to drive business growth and forge strategic partnerships. As a Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and promoting our geospatial solutions and services.
Responsibilities:
• Research and identify potential clients and market segments within the mapping and surveying industry.
• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to expand our market presence and achieve revenue targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders, including government agencies, engineering firms, and other industry partners.
• Prospect and engage with new clients through cold calling, networking events, and other outreach activities.
• Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
• Collaborate with internal teams to customize solutions and proposals that meet the specific needs of clients.
• Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for all parties involved.
• Stay informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact our business.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other events to showcase our expertise and establish thought leadership.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, pitches, and demonstrations to prospective clients, showcasing the value proposition of our geospatial solutions.
• Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline activity, and market trends to senior management.
• Provide feedback and insights to internal teams to drive product development and innovation based on client needs and market demands.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials, case studies, and other sales collateral to support business development efforts.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Geospatial Sciences, Geography, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles within the geospatial industry, with a focus on mapping and surveying solutions.
• Strong understanding of geospatial technologies, including GIS (Geographic Information Systems), remote sensing, and GPS (Global Positioning System).
• Demonstrated ability to build and nurture client relationships, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strategic thinker with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, capable of identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software.
• Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
