Senior Business Analyst Tax and Accounting / OneSource Statutory Reporting

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our growing team and play a critical role in driving business process improvement and system implementation.
About the Role
In this opportunity as Senior Business Analyst, you will:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather, document, and analyze business requirements.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Elicits, writes formal specifications, and communicates business requirements between development and client to design and implement business solutions.
  • Translates complex business requirements into technical solutions as required.
  • Develop and maintain project plans and timelines.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure systems meet user requirements.
  • Adheres to metrics to ensure customer satisfaction and may recommend metrics.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining a relationship with customers.
  • Clearly communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proactively identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to the process.
  • Ensures change management and communication of change to team and/or client is done in a systematic way for complex projects
  • Develops an in-depth awareness and understanding of multiple Thomson Reuters technologies, products, and services.
  • Participates in short term planning sessions with a client to improve a business process

About You
You\xe2\x80\x99re a fit for the role of Senior Business Analyst if your background includes:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).


  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with business process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN) a plus.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile) a plus.
