THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION BASED IN BANGALORE, INDIA


THE ROLE



As a Senior Lead in the Business Analysis team, you will play a vital role bridging the gap between business objectives and technical implementation, ensuring that data initiatives are closely aligned with overarching strategic goals. This pivotal position involves defining project scopes, upholding data quality standards, and strengthening governance measures. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:


• Eliciting and contributing to the formulation of business requirements, user stories, and epics using relevant techniques.
• Leading the team in identifying and delivering systems, solutions, and features, taking full responsibility for the outcomes.
• Producing business requirements to shape future state design, actively supporting the team in comprehending requirements and their alignment with the overall strategy.
• Collaborating across teams and with stakeholders to capture, validate, and document business and system requirements, ensuring seamless alignment with key strategic goals and translating them from business operations, objectives, or external requirements.
• Engaging with customers, key stakeholders, and the team to gather and document functional and non-functional needs, ensuring comprehensive understanding and alignment with project objectives.


THE QUALIFICATIONS


• Bachelor's degree in Business Analysis, Information Technology, Computer Science , or a related field.
• Certification of Capability in Business Analysis or Certified Business Analysis Professional preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in the operations/payments/credit risk processes and reporting & control processes
• A good understanding of reporting/ ETL applications and hands-on experience with SQL
• Understanding of data warehousing system, data modeling, and AWS tools such as Glue Studio and Sag maker Studio
• A good understanding of Agile principles and methodologies with experience working within an Agile environment
• Superior communication, presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to express complex concepts in plain language to reach broader audiences


Passion for financial inclusion and access to higher education is a must, as well as comfort working with a global team across multiple time zones and locations!



In addition, you should be comfortable working in a fast growth environment, meaning a small agile team, fast-evolving roles and responsibilities, variable workload, tight deadlines, a high degree of autonomy, and applying the 80-20 rule for fast turnaround.
