Job Title: IT Business Analyst Job Salary: upto 30 LPA Education: MBA required Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have an MBA and at least 5 years of industry experience in business analysis and consulting for IT projects. The role involves working closely with business users, clients, and stakeholders to understand and articulate program goals and objectives, gathering and detailing business requirements, and ensuring these are translated into functional, non-functional, and system requirements. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business needs and software capabilities, ensuring that the end solution meets business objectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
- Work with business users, clients, and stakeholders to discover and articulate program goals and objectives.
- Comprehend and collect business requirements through one-on-one discussions, user workshops, discovery sessions, etc.
- Distill and detail these requirements into functional, non-functional, and system requirements.
- Solution Design and Visualization:
- Collaborate with UX and development teams to visualize and design business solutions.
- Act as a liaison between business needs and software capabilities.
- Validation and Clarification:
- Perform functional validation of the proposed end-to-end solution with end-users, clients, and stakeholders.
- Clarify requirements to architecture, development, and QA teams through flow diagrams, legacy system demos, requirement walkthroughs, UX demos, etc.
- Quality Assurance and Testing:
- Review QA test scenarios to ensure quality, coverage, and adequacy of system test cases.
- Strategize, drive, and ensure success in acceptance testing with support from QA teams.
- Operationalization and Training:
- Drive demos and system trainings with various stakeholders to operationalize new software.
- Education:
- MBA with at least 5 years of industry experience in business analysis and consulting for IT projects.
- Skills and Expertise:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong visualization skills in UX, data, and integrated systems.
- Ability to understand and contemplate underlying processes and data modeling.
- Expertise in implementing COTS products across various domains.
- Proficiency in at least one database (e.g., SQL Server) and one reporting tool (e.g., Power BI).
- Structured documentation skills.
- Strong business context and perspective in project assignments.
- Experience:
- Exposure to large transformation projects, responsible for discovering as-is processes and suggesting optimization through technology interventions.
- Excellent communication skills\xe2\x80\x94written, verbal, and presentation, including flow diagrams, wireframes, block diagrams, charts, and data drill downs.
- Excellent persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Experience in the media domain (advertising, broadcast, production, OTT) is an added advantage.
