Job Description


You will be part of Euromonitor\xe2\x80\x99s Research Application portfolio team. As a Senior Business analyst your initial focus will be the Content Publishing Platform, you will be responsible for in-depth analysis; present transparent, understandable recommendations to stakeholders and developers; and stay on top of digital publishing trends to help Euromonitor International stay competitive well into the future. Liaising with internal Product teams and Product Owner to progress technical issues to resolution, provide user support to the Stakeholders and SMEs regarding all aspects of the Content Publishing Platform, escalating to the Product Manager where necessary. Strong communication, collaboration and teamwork skills are required for this role.

Requirements

Key Responsibility:

  • Gather, understand and analyse requirements (Functional, Non-functional and Constraint\xe2\x80\x99s) using meetings, interviews, existing document analysis, workshops, surveys and other initiatives.
  • Ensure that all key parties agree that requirements meet the business objectives. From this understanding, write scope document including analysis of \'as is\' and \'to be\' processes.
  • Work independently with Stakeholders and End Users to define concepts, work closely with SCRUM teams and collaborate to establish the technical vision and analyse any trade-offs.
  • Write clear user stories with appropriate level of acceptance criteria and work with stakeholders to ensure that products and projects meet requirements
  • Engage with Stakeholders and Product Manager to priorities the requirements for future sprints and development.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including Product Managers, Engineers, Designers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
  • Work with end users to define testing scenarios (including planning and executing UAT).
  • Create end-user documentation and prepare comms materials on system enhancements.
  • Provide second- and third-line support on the Product by engaging with colleagues to understand issues and take necessary steps towards fixing them.
Skills/Proficiencies required:
  • Highly organised individual with the ability to work on several projects at once.
  • Experience of working with a global business and engaging with users across the regions.
  • Solid experience with gathering requirements with business and technical stakeholders in an agile environment, translating these user stories and supporting documentation.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills and attention to detail. Oral and written fluency in English.
  • Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret complex business needs and translate these into requirements.
  • Ability to work in adaptive and flexible environment with faced paced development approach.
Desirable attributes:
  • Knowledge of content management systems
  • Experience using Azure Dev Ops.
  • Experience with analysing external technologies and recommending which ones to incorporate into your in-house building system.
  • A degree in engineering, computer science or related fields.
