Department: BIM DesignMain Roles & Responsibilities
As a Sr. BIM Engineer, you\'ll be working with an innovative, multi-disciplinary team where you\'ll :

  • Playing a crucial role in developing and implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategies and workflows for pharmaceutical facility projects.
  • Using your expertise in BIM technologies and Electrical design to contribute towards the successful execution of projects while ensuring adherence to industry standards and client requirements.
  • Develop and implement BIM strategies and workflows for electrical design projects in the pharmaceutical facility sector.
  • Collaborate with the project team, including architects, engineers, and designers, to integrate BIM technologies into the design and construction process.
  • Solve tasks independently.
  • Ensure changes to scope of work are brought to the attention of project management.
  • Ensure quality/review and compliance of own work.
  • Prepare 3D models as per LOD of the project.
  • Ability to interface effectively with other engineering disciplines.
  • Sound technical knowledge, section details, In-depth and detailed checking of jobs before delivering.

Education and Work Experience
In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:
  • You have at least 6 years of experience working as a BIM Engineer in Electrical Discipline preferably in the pharmaceutical facility design engineering sector.
  • Good grasp on Revit Electrical, BIM and NAVIS model
  • Cable tray routing and sizing, Lighting, and power installation, earthing installation and calculation, panel placement with scheduling and sheets.
  • Floor raceways/ Busbar trunking, BMS, IT and security installation.
  • Family creation.
  • Experience working on BIM 360 Platform and cloud models.
  • Make spot decisions and solve any problem related to the BIM activities for the project and shall ensure that design output meets the BIM Execution Plan.
  • Clash detection & clash resolving with respect to other services.
  • Experience in Basic Engineering will be an advantage.
  • Experience with International Project
