• We are looking for a passionate and committed Sr. Power BI support engineer to join the data analytics team.
• As a Sr Power BI support engineer, you will be part of a team of the members of the engineering and manufacturing data domain team who are continuously delivering valuable services to the Atlas Copco Group. You will work together with business users and data engineers.
• We are looking for someone that likes to aid our end-users in their requests, sent via our ticketing tool, regarding access, usage, and continuity.
• You will offer this 1st line technical and customer support while also solving complex problems.
• You are a key contributor in the product team meeting. You will collaborate with all stakeholders (cross-departmental) and work closely together with the Data Engineers, Data Analysts and BI Developers working in the DnA team supporting the operations and technical support department.
• You will continuously help maintain and improve the overall dashboard and Intelligent Agent product quality and ensure smooth operations, through regular monitoring and a proactive reporting follow-up. This includes analysing failures, monitoring issues, root cause analysis, \xe2\x80\xa6.
• You will play an active role in increasing user satisfaction by identifying and diagnosing problems and troubleshooting,
• By creating documentation or video instructions, you can make the response time on requests shorter or even avoid future recurring tickets.
• Besides you will also recommend modifications or improvements to the developers. We encourage you to share best practices, to investigate and implement, together with the product team, new technologies and automations that will improve our products. You are responsible for the Power BI front-end design, development, support and delivery for highly visible data-driven applications in Atlas Copco Group. You always take a quality-first approach where you ensure the data is visualized in a clear, accurate and user-friendly manner.To succeed, you will need

• Researching, diagnosing, and identifying solutions to resolve PowerBI visualization and KPI
• Providing prompt service to the users of the platform and adhering to strict SLAs for response. and restoration times.
• Problem determination, workaround resolution, root cause analysis, major incident management.
• To maintain the databases and spreadsheets for data analysis. To help in the process of troubleshooting business reports.
• Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
• Complex level working knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Diligence, quality-focused, and analytical skills
• Proactive in contributing to organizational success.
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration
• Providing customers with step-by-step guidance to resolve technical problems.
• Following up on technical queries and providing prompt feedback.
• Prioritizing customer queries and escalating serious technical issues to IT developers.
• Coordinate with the design and development teams to resolve complex application and system issues.
• Troubleshoot and rectify application issues.
• Provide progress updates to senior managers.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify the reasons for the underlying issues.
• Plan and execute strategies and configuration changes to ensure optimal quality assurance for all applications.
• Monitor all alerts related to applications and provide proactive services.
• Maintain positive working relationships with other team members, including engineers and customer support technicians.
• Debug any server issues that impact application performance.
• Coordinate with the quality assurance and development team to administer code migrations across various environments.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for all issues and the implemented solutions.
• Understand business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
• Performing data modelling with DAX language with reporting KPI
• Support complex dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI
• Analyse data and present data through reports that aid decision-making.
• Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models.
• Chart creation and data documentation explaining algorithms, parameters, models, and relations.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics.
• Promote the use of standard Microsoft visualizations.
• Mentor and guide Junior team members
• Strong knowledge on BI development, support principles, time intelligence functions, dimensional modelling and data visualization is required.
• You are a Power BI front-end developer that can develop performant data sets and appealing, insightful visualizations.
• Advanced knowledge and minimum 3-6 years\' experience with professional BI development & data visualization.
• Knowledge on MS Azure (data lake, data bricks) is considered as a plus.
• You are experienced in data modelling and custom calculations.
• You can create complex visuals and KPI charts that are used on enterprise level.
• You have a good understanding of data warehousing and relational database concepts & technologies.
• Experience and knowledge on scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python to setup and automate Power BI platform related activities is an asset.
• Data Modelling skills
• Experience with any data virtualisation platform
• Working knowledge of ETL/data processing platform and data pipelines
• Be able to assemble large, complex data sets from multiple data sources that meet business requirements.
• And be able to do this whilst being the sole data engineering resource as part of a larger project team.
• Have knowledge/experience of the Software Development Lifecycle
• Design/Build/Test/Deploy/Operate/Support/Change
• An appreciation/understanding of the need to create good quality software solutions suitable for a large enterprise (and of what those qualities are)

Must to have

• PowerBI, PowerApps, Azure platform, SQL, Python, DAX, Reporting KPI
• Excellent knowledge (oral and written) of English is required.

Nice to have.

• Knowledge/experience of Microsoft Azure applications and Azure data pipelines
• Experience of a Source Control system such as Git or SVN

EducationAny Graduate (B.E / B.Tech/MCA/MTech/BSc/MSc/MCS) in Engineering with 3-6 years of experience in BI Engineering field , projects and tools.Knowledge

• You have strong technical knowledge, specific knowledge of the Data Analysis tools, methodologies, reporting etc.
• Good analytical skills: You feel comfortable working with numbers/data, e.g. collecting and analysing trend graphs, combining the info with insights from ERP and previous site visits to come to a sound conclusion.
• You are fluent in English: both written and spoken.
• Working Knowledge of Agile scrum ceremonies.
