What will you be responsible for?
• Be part of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) team. Participate and advance the BCDR capability operating out of India.
• Implement and monitor an enterprise-wide coordinated BCDR approach that implements operating controls to manage information security risks.
• Develop BCDR policies, frameworks, processes, standards, and guidelines. Ensure these are consistently applied and enforced.
• Collaborate with stakeholders (e. g. Senior Leadership, Strategic Business Units, IT, System Owners) to ensure a consistent process for scoping, assessing, strategizing, planning, implementing, and testing for BCDR.
• Evaluate and assess adequacy of current BCDR strategies, plans, and solutions to identify single points of failure and recommend improvements.
• Assess BCDR solution capabilities and relationships with the organization and/or 3rd parties and provide recommendations for improved resiliency.
• Improve BCDR solutions for better risk mitigation, data and asset protection, downtime minimization and operational resilience.
• Conduct regular audits to identify and address security risks, ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal policies.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with BCDR, and implement measures to enhance overall security.
• Respond to incidents related to BCDR, investigate causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Apprise and keep up to date the executive management on the current state of BCDR.
• Stay updated on current BCDR threats and industry solutions.




What would your day look like?
• Develop, maintain, enforce, and monitor implementation of BCDR policies, framework, processes, and other requirements, ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, maintain, and test their business control environment, and continuity strategies and plans.
• Contribute to BCDR activities including Business Impact Assessment (BIA), Threat / Risk Assessment (TA/RA), BCDR strategy / plan development, testing, and governance.
• Advise cross-functional teams on business continuity strategizing, planning, testing and maintenance to ensure an appropriate level of resilience and recovery capability is retained.
• Advise teams as they perform analysis on BCDR architecture to ensure adherence to Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO).
• Provide recommendations for backup processes and fail-over procedures.
• Drive BCDR testing; assist with the execution of testing and exercises.
• Assist with the validation and update of Recovery Plans and related documentation.
• Regularly collaborate with business leaders, application and product owners to evaluate business resiliency needs and impacts of BCDR decisions on business processes as well as to communicate risks.
• Contribute to governance and facilitate remediation recommendations of related risks, deficiencies, gaps, or issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on BCDR solution related matters, esp. to identify, investigate, and remediate security threats and mitigate risks.
• Follow up, track, analyze and report on organization-wide BCDR maturity.
• Perform security readiness audits and support internal and external security auditing on BCDR solutions. Report on solution security status.
• Identify major BCDR solution deficiencies and define/craft pragmatic approaches on how to remediate them at scale.
• Evangelize and promote IT Security culture across the organization.




Who are we looking for?
• 4-year University (Bachelor's) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or STEM fields, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of Information Systems experience, 2+ years of hands-on BCDR implementation or operations experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge pertaining to concepts and principles in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery, and Contingency Planning.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical individuals at any level.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and high commitment to quality.
• Ability to perform work independently with a high degree of initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptable to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Able to react to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently.
• Ability to collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams throughout the organization.
• Proficient in writing/creation of formal documentation such as policies, processes, procedures, reports and presentations.
• Working knowledge of a BCDR management tool, such as Archer or ServiceNow.
• Preferred working knowledge of BCDR standards (ISO/IEC 27031, NIST SP 800-34)
