Job Title: Senior Barista Location: True Fit Gourmet Cafe, Bandra : True Fit Gourmet Cafe in Bandra is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Barista to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our valued customers while leading and supporting our team of baristas. Responsibilities: Craft high-quality espresso-based beverages, pour-over coffees, teas, and other specialty drinks according to True Fit Gourmet Cafe\'s standards. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and recommending menu items based on customer preferences. Demonstrate expertise in operating and maintaining espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment & other primary cafe equipment. Train and mentor junior baristas in the art of coffee preparation, customer service, and cafe operations. Doing weekly Audits & following of regular SOPs for the brand. Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management & purchase team to ensure an adequate supply of all raw materials is there at the cafe during all operational days. Uphold cleanliness and organization standards in the cafe, including the coffee preparation area, equipment, and dining areas & personal presentation + grooming of the entire floor team. Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately + address finance queries to the management etc. Collaborate with the management team to develop new beverage offerings and participate in tasting sessions and menu planning as per requirement Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers and team members. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment. Requirements: Previous experience as a barista in a specialty coffee shop or cafe, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior or leadership role. Extensive knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso extraction, and latte art. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and connect with customers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure during busy periods. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions. Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations. Certification from a recognized barista training program is preferred but not required.
