Position Overview: ShyftLabs is looking for an experienced Back-end developer to join our IT team, who has an entrepreneurial spirit to work in a fast-paced environment. If you have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones, we would like to meet you. As a Back-end developer at ShyftLabs, you\'ll work closely with our engineers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience. Job Responsibilities: You are responsible for product development, testing, deployment, and support Develop and enhance existing applications as per product requirements Manage cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications Collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic Develop and maintain APIs and data processing pipelines that integrate with various internal and external systems Manage individual priorities, deadlines, and deliverables Work with a small cross-functional team of engineers, PMs, data engineers, and designers Help the team in documenting changes made in different artifacts Help team members in the knowledge-sharing session Ability to learn other coding languages as needed Basic Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or a related field 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on high-performance and scalable systems Experience with database design and management, particularly with large-scale databases Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS. Knowledge of serverless computing, containerization, and microservices is a plus. Working knowledge of our Tech stack: Java, Python, Node, GraphQL, RESTful APIs, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka Redis Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment We are proud to offer a competitive salary alongside a strong healthcare insurance and benefits package.
