Senior QA EngineerAequilibriums seeks a Senior QA Engineer with experience on the Backbase digital banking platform! This role combines deep manual and automated testing expertise with a proven track record in leading QA processes and teams. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in developing and implementing QA strategies for web-based applications, emphasizing automation and continuous integration.Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality of web and mobile applications.
• Lead automation efforts using Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, and other modern testing frameworks.
• Design, maintain, and execute test cases and scripts across different software development life cycle stages.
• Utilize various programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, and JavaScript to enhance testing processes.
• Manage manual and automated testing environments, ensuring effective coverage and quick turnaround.
• Integrate QA processes into the CI/CD pipeline, collaborating closely with development and operations teams to streamline deployments.
• Conduct performance, regression, and security testing to identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot, track, and escalate issues efficiently using tools like JIRA, Git, and Rally.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, applying best practices to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills:

• Experience integrating and customizing the BackBase digital banking platform for financial services clients.
• Proven experience in QA automation and leadership roles.
• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, Java, and other automation tools.
• Strong background in software development and software QA methodologies.
• Proficient with code versioning tools and Agile methodology.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform well in a team.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud services like AWS and Azure.
• Knowledge of financial services or banking applications.
• Experience in mobile testing using Appium or similar tools.
• Familiarity with containerization and microservices architectures.

Education:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years in QA automation or related fields.
