Working Knowledge of databases and data formats. The candidate will need to create different types of data for testing. The data may be for widely used databases (Postgres, MySQL etc.), Cloud warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks). Understanding of data and its variations is essential to do a good job at validating functionality.
Ability to write test cases: The product is focused on Data Quality and as such someone with an understanding of data and its different use cases will be preferred.
Automation: To begin with we are looking at the candidate to be able to manually test the functionality. However, it will be useful if the candidate can run and maintain the existing suite of automation. The existing automation uses Selenium, Java, Rest Assured. Understanding of these is a good to have.
