As an ETL Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our data processing pipelines. Your responsibilities will include validating data sources, executing test cases, troubleshooting defects, and collaborating with development teams. • Validate data sources, ensuring accurate extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Create and execute System Integration Test (SIT) plans and test cases.
• Review data models, mappings, and architectural documentation.
• Run queries in the database to verify results against expectations.
• Troubleshoot erroneous results and log defects in HP Quality Center/ALM.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve software-related defects.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in ETL tools such as Informatica and Talend.
• Strong experience with SQL for data validation and comparison.
• Understanding of Robot Framework or any BDD Framework and API Testing.
• Knowledge of both dimensional modeling and data warehouse concepts (star schemas, snowflakes, dimensions, facts).
• Exposure to risk frameworks and mitigation strategies.
• Understanding of web technologies
• Understanding of Robot Framework or any BDD Framework and API Testing
• Experience with Selenium, basics of java and pyspark is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s or Masterxe2x80x99s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Certifications such as CSTE (Certified Software Tester) or ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) is a plus.
