POSITION PURPOSE

As a senior QA Analyst for the "Compliance" application in the banking sector for BNP, your primary responsibility is to ensure the reliability and functionality of our software through meticulous testing processes. Collaborating closely with the Development and Business Analysis teams, you will contribute to creating a shared understanding of project specifications, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality product.

Responsibilities

DIRECT RESPONSIBILITIES

• We are seeking a skilled Senior Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Automation Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through robust automation testing using Python and java.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Selenium
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, report, and troubleshoot defects to ensure high-quality product releases.
• Design and execute test plans and test cases to ensure coverage of functional and non-functional requirements
• Work with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain test environments.
• Continuously improve test coverage, methodologies, and automation frameworks. Also should be involved in Manual testing
• Strong experience in software testing or development with a strong understanding of testing, coding, and debugging procedures.
• Strong experience in automation testing using Python and Selenium.
• Explore new tools and technology

TECHNICAL & BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES
---------------------------------------

• Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Pytest./ Pycham.
• Must have automation framework creation experience (MUST)
• Scripting experience Java, Python is a MUST
• Minimum 5 years of automation testing experience with following technical skill set
• Robot Framework(60%) o Java/Python Selenium (UI Automation) (40%) is a MUST.
• Experience with testing SOAP and REST services and knowledge of SOA architecture
• Familiarity with software testing techniques and methods, as well as experience applying them.
• Experience in maintaining test documentation (checklists, test cases, etc.).
• Strong SQL knowledge and experience with Mongodb/ Oracle databases.
• Analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to design formal test cases for testing, based on requirements
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum principles
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Technologies o Python o Pytest o Selenium o API o Rest Assured
• Knowledge on Git o Knowledge on Page Object Model
• Manual Testing in Agile methodology
• API testing using Postman or any web service testing tools
