This an opportunity to join us on this journey and be part of a collaborative team that uses Agile DevSecOps principles to deliver business value.By way of background, DCI currently comprises of 27 engineering teams who deliver over 70 products achieving $250m revenue per annum.Our unique culture and agile ways of working offer a great opportunity to those seeking to join a talented set of diverse problem solvers to design, build and maintain our products. We pride ourselves in excellence, adopting best practices and holding ourselves to the highest standards.The Domain:Customer and Portfolio Management in CIS comprises a portfolio of 4 products which make up ~$25m revenue for the business each year. Clients use our products to gain a detailed insight into their customer base to support them and manage their portfolio to keep customer safe. The market is constantly changing, and Customer Management is an area where we expect to see huge growth and innovation. Clients are increasingly looking to incorporate new sources of data into their workflows which support an E2E digital journey, and new regulatory guidance and Experian want to be at the centre of it.Our Tech:We\'re using Java and C++ based batch systems and are always keen to evaluate new features to see if we can take advantage of them. We use a wide variety of testing and quality techniques, and our services are pushed through our environments using a combination of GIT, Jenkins for source control, build and release for the backbone of our CI pipeline. As we develop in to the future targeting cloud infrastructure and scalability, we want to bring you along the journey with us over the coming years.We use a variety of tools and tech to aid the testing automation of our platforms and are keen to evolve them if there are better ones for the job. Currently our tool set is predominantly Tosca based.Key Responsibilities:

  • To perform automation/manual quality assurance and testing on various applications that are central to the Collections business.
  • Engage in adopting test strategy to ensure high-quality output and involve in evolving QA processes.
  • Design test scripts, test data, and execute test cases for complex technical and business solutions.
  • Bring a QA perspective to planning sessions, review and provide feedback and test effort on user stories.
  • Review QA related issues in a timely fashion (defects/tickets) and ensure that bugs are handle with severity & priority.
  • Build and maintain regression test packs for each release.
  • To become involved in Test automation as that becomes core to the QA model.
  • Create & maintain automated test suites & framework.
  • Execute test plans to agreed timescales and provide regular updates to the QA test lead/manager.
  • Proactively identify potential risks in achieving personal and project timescales and report appropriately.
QualificationsExperience
  • 4+ years Testing experience - both manual and automated with a keen sense of what good looks like.
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, can-do attitude, self-starter & proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Highly organised with a strong eye for detail.
Required Technical Skills/Knowledge
  • Extensive experience in Test Management and Automation Tools and frameworks such as Selenium or Postman or Cucumber or Cypress
  • Experience in TOSCA is required.
  • Strong experience in UIs and bath automation testing
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, manual and automated test techniques, tools, processes and best practice
  • Possess a strong background in writing automated functional and integration tests
  • Understand where & when automation testing fits into the SDLC, specifically Agile (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Familiar with good development practices to create and maintain clean, readable code to industry standards.
  • Experience defining and executing non-functional tests cases using standard testing techniques.
