Job Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Associate - Electronics at Aumirah in Noida.

1. Patent Drafting: Lead the drafting and preparation of high-quality patent applications in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), blockchain, general electronics, and related technologies. - Work closely with inventors, engineers, and legal teams to understand inventions and articulate them into comprehensive patent applications. - Conduct prior art searches and analysis to ensure patentability and strengthen patent claims. - Prepare detailed technical descriptions, flowcharts, and diagrams to support patent applications.

2. Technology Expertise: Stay abreast of advancements and trends in AI, ML, blockchain, general electronics, and related domains. - Provide technical expertise and insights to support patent strategy and portfolio development. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify patentable inventions and assess their commercial potential.

3. Patent Portfolio Management: Assist in managing and maintaining the company's patent portfolio, including monitoring application filings, deadlines, and maintenance fees. - Conduct portfolio analysis and identify opportunities for patent filing, licensing, or divestiture. - Support patent prosecution activities, including responding to office actions and conducting examiner interviews.

4. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of patent drafting activities, including application filings, correspondence, and prosecution history. - Prepare clear and concise reports summarizing patent portfolio status and activities for internal stakeholders and external partners.

5. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with inventors, engineers, legal counsel, and business development professionals to support patent strategy and execution. - Communicate complex technical concepts and patent drafting strategies in a clear and understandable manner. - Participate in meetings and discussions to provide insights and recommendations regarding patent drafting and portfolio management.

Qualifications:

• Certification of Patent Agent is required.
• B. Tech in Electronics or Computer Science.
• Required 2-4 years of experience in patent drafting and prosecution, with expertise in AI, ML, blockchain, general electronics, or related technologies.
• Strong understanding of patent law principles, patent drafting techniques, and patent prosecution processes.
• Proficiency in conducting prior art searches and analysis.
• Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise patent applications.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
