BBRC is seeking an experienced scientist (MS/MTech/MPharm) with expertise in Neuroscience to join their Molecular Pharmacology group in their mission of discovery and validation of therapeutic targets and participation in drug discovery programs. Applicants with expertise in neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer\'s/Multiple Sclerosis etc and other neurological conditions like Schizophrenia are particularly encouraged to apply.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, optimize, and perform rigorous cellular/biochemical assays to support the neuroscience therapeutic area
• Perform electrophysiology/MEA/calcium imaging on primary neurons and human iPSCs aimed at execution of discovery programs focused on neurodegenerative diseases etc
• Deliver high quality data to support identification/development of novel targets
• Culture iPSC-derived cell-types related to your neurological models and primary culture of CNS cell types
• Develop and run biochemical assays (ELISA/Western) for analyses of preclinical in-vivo samples
• Neuronal cell isolation and culture from rats and mice

Educational Qualification: MS, MTech or MPharm in enzymology, biochemistry, molecular biology or related disciplineExperience: 5-7 yearsTechnical/functional Skills:

• Experience in developing and utilizing in vitro models of neurodegenerative and other neurological diseases
• Proven hands-on experience in the culture and maintenance of primary neurons and other CNS cell types including human iPSC-derived cells and/or 2D/3D cell culture techniques

• Experience in iPSC neuronal differentiation protocols for establishing human iPSC-based neurological disease models and/or in-vitro neuronal cell cultures from mouse models

• Experience with the development and execution of cellular assays using a wide range of experimental methods and detection technologies (Biochemical/ELISA/IF etc) and functional assays like Electrophysiology/MEA/Calcium Imaging etc

• Broad knowledge in Neuroscience disease biology
