Inviting applications for the role of Senior Associate \xe2\x80\x93 QA UFT
As a Senior Associate for UFT, you will play a vital role in supporting test automation initiatives and ensuring the quality of software applications through effective testing strategies. You will work closely with project teams to design, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using UFT, contributing to the overall success of our projects. Additionally, you will provide technical expertise, mentorship, and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using UFT, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and adherence to quality standards.
- Execute UFT test scripts to automate functional and regression testing of software applications, analyzing test results and reporting defects as needed.
- Contribute to the enhancement and optimization of test automation frameworks, incorporating industry best practices and emerging technologies.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members, mentoring them on UFT tools, techniques, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and quality assurance testers to coordinate testing activities and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in test automation efforts, driving the continuous enhancement of our testing capabilities.
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports, to ensure clear and comprehensive communication of test results and findings.
- Conduct training sessions and knowledge sharing activities to disseminate UFT expertise across the organization and promote a culture of learning and development.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation using UFT (Unified Functional Testing).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as VBScript for test automation.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes is a plus.
- Certifications in UFT or software testing (e.g., ISTQB certification) are advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
