Senior Specialist - Fund Administration Manager - IN
.Fund Accounting role typically involves segregating resources into categories (i.e., funds), to identify both the source of funds and the use of funds. It is required for demonstrating accountability and stewardship, determining financial condition, planning and budgeting, evaluating organizational and managerial performance, determining/forecasting cash flow and communication. A fund is a segregation of resources established to control and monitor resources and to help ensure and demonstrate compliance with legal/administrative requirements.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Reviews investment fund balance sheet and profit and loss statements and other accounting schedules and reports in accordance with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
• Reviews financial statements which present information about major funds individually and non-major funds in the aggregate.
• Analyzes financial information for the funds to ensure integrity of financial systems and accuracy of data.
• Oversees the coordination, preparation, validation, and review of the SEC financial data filings to ensure they are filed timely and accurately.
• Researches on the impacts of new accounting standards, reporting requirements, and regulatory standards on existing and new transaction accounting regulations.
• Coaches and reviews the work of lower level fund financial reporting professionals.

Educational Requirements

• University (Degree) Preferred

• 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred
