& Summary

Position: Senior Associate (depending on background and experience)


Team: Corporate Finance & Investment Banking (CF&IB) - Infrastructure sector


Location: Gurugram


Responsibilities:
?

Preparing and maintaining a list of potential clients/prospects who can be targeted for providing sell side or


buy side advisory services related to mergers & acquisitions or private equity funding in the infrastructure


space (roads, renewable energy, urban infrastructure, smart meters, green hydrogen, etc.).


• Be open to undertaking basic research in this regard using databases such as VCC Edge, private

circle, capitalIQ and sources such as credit rating reports.


• Liaise with internal teams including risk management to evaluate whether provision of services

to any of the prospects could lead to actual or potential conflicts and identify services that can


be provided without conflicts.
? Coordinate with senior team members and setting up meetings for senior members of the Infrastructure


CFIB team to pitch PwC's investment banking services that the team and/or PwC can offer to such


prospects.
?

Own and pursue follow up tasks to calls and meetings with prospects.
?

Gathering, keeping abreast and updating the senior team members about market intelligence.
?

Own the prospective client outreach process and ensure conversion of outreach into actionable fund raise


or M&A advisory mandate for the firm.


Required Competencies:
?

Ability to connect and hold conversations with Promoter/CEO/CXO level persons.
?

Strong analytical skills.
?

Basic understanding of corporate finance concepts and good understanding of the basics of investing.
?

Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong English proficiency.
?

Ability to work collaboratively and to deal with ambiguity in an environment with short deadlines for


delivery.
?

Basic knowledge of infrastructure/asset heavy sectors such as roads, power, logistics and warehousing,


power transmission, commercial real estate and hospitality, or telecom would be an added advantage.


Education and Experience:
?

3-4 years of wealth management experience


Mandatory skill sets- Investment Banking experience

Preferred skill sets- Investment Banking experience

Year of experience required- 3-5 years

Qualifications- MBA / CA
