The main purpose of our existence is to provide superior service to our stakeholders consistently and add value to the processes in terms of standardization and efficiency.The PositionThe overall goal for the position as a Senior Associate II - Tax is to fulfil the targets set jointly by Corporate Tax, Denmark and North America Tax Group, Princeton, USA. This involves tasks within Tax compliance, transfer pricing, indirect taxes and related to the U.S. Sales & Use Tax laws. You will act as a sparring partner whose role will be to raise the knowledge level about tax processes within the existing team and improvement of the current compliance processes with more quality.As a Senior Associate II-Tax in Finance GBS, you will also participate in the below mentioned responsibilities :

  • Indirect tax compliance processes: preparing tax calculations and filings for U.S Sales and Use Tax regulations.
  • Determine U.S. Sales and Use Tax applicability on transactions and fixed assets.
  • Preparing U.S. Use Tax reporting for the U.S. region and calculating U.S. tax liability.
  • Assessing/ calculating U.S. Use Tax liability and filing U.S. Use Tax returns for applicable states within the U.S. region.
  • Preparation of workpapers and supporting documents towards U.S. Tax Audits and also validate U.S. Sales and Use Tax exemption certificates.
  • Maintenance of tax relevant information in Matrix (legal structure database) and Tax Audit\'s & Tax Risk in TRACS.
  • Adhere to update on the tax laws, if any changes will intimate the law changes to the respective process analyst, so that the process will run smoothly.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor or Masters in tax or finance or accounting from an international recognized institute.
  • 3-6 years of experience in an U.S. Sales & Use Tax from various organizations.
  • Experience in analytical skills on U.S. Sales & Use tax.
  • Identify the root cause analysis on the financial leakages and to fix those issues by setting up the process.
  • Knowledge on SAP, MS Office etc.
  • Improve process effectiveness by implementing the analytical skills.
  • Meet all SLA\'s and continue to excel in operations.
  • Able to adapt in tough situations and learn all the process related activities.
  • Understand the basic system flow and transform the data into usable information.
  • Help team members in all possible aspects.
