About the department

P2P GBS is the offshoring unit of Global P2P and part of Finance GBS Bangalore. The Digital team in P2P GBS is overall responsible for managing end user support for our Global P2P systems and other BI activities.

The position

Responsible for handling travel and expense accounting and related reporting as well as support to front office for assigned affiliates. The overall goal is to fulfil the targets set up by the Associate Manager and Finance GBS Management jointly.

  • Accounting tasks for different global regions. Automatic & manual clearance of interim and vendor accounts. Monthly invoice postings in SAP.
  • Monitoring & ensuring accurate accrual posting. Monthly reconciliation of interim accounts. Bank error corrections. Cross company postings. Check for payment status to vendors.
  • Daily check on XI scales job log and follow up and process manually in case of job failure. Handling of mailboxes related to accounting queries.
  • Perform control check activity on employee reimbursements or deductions. Analysis and clearing of backlog from interim account. Monthly Dunning follow up and reporting to all affiliates.
  • Regular monthly meetings with customers to discuss on issues & improvements. Responsible for any ad hoc request from customers. Drive process improvements within the team.
Qualification
  • Bachelor of Commerce (or equivalent). Good academic track record and grades.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in accounting/economy function.
  • Experience working with Travel and Expense systems - preferably Concur Expense.
  • Experience working with ERP systems - preferably SAP.
  • Candidates with experience working with Travel and Expense in a Global company are preferred.
  • Flexible\xe2\x80\xa6 especially around month end. Thorough and responsible.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills. Perform as backup when team member is absent.
  • Maintain quality of 100% in all activities. Build good working relationship with stakeholders.
