About the Sr. Associate, Finance role

This is a hands-on and dynamic role. This role will be based in Mumbai and will report to the Finance Manager. The person in this role is required to apply the basic principles of accounting and their knowledge of GST, transfer pricing, tax and other statutory compliance in handling the full spectrum of finance and accounting activities.

The key responsibilities include the following:

- ROC compliance knowledge for various returns

- Responsible for day-to-day accounting and monthly book closure

- Liaise with external auditors, bankers, tax, and other statutory authorities, accounting and payroll service providers, and other government agencies

- Support the month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting requirements in accordance with deadlines, including audit

- Support in filing of GST, tax and other returns on a timely basis

What we\'re looking for

- Professional accounting qualification: Chartered Accountant

- 2-4 years of post-qualification experience in a commercial set-up (preferably ex-Big4/Big5)

- A good understanding of financial management obligations, especially statutory obligations and requirements

- Excellent communication skills and time management.

- Proficiency in software such as Microsoft Excel and Tally

- Strong ethics, integrity, and accountability with ability to maintain independence, autonomy, and confidentiality

- Able to prioritize multiple responsibilities and activities and pivot quickly when necessary

- Able to maintain effectiveness in an environment with uncertainties

- International accounting and IFRS framework experience a plus
