GDS India - Workplace Enablement & Services - Senior - Executive - Security

As part of our EY Workplace Enablement & Services team, you will be responsible all activities related to successful operation of Facilities, hospitality, events, security and workplace administration and renovation and Projects. Carrying EY values and culture and demonstrating the same and leading the team by example.

The Opportunity
We\'re looking for Senior Executive - Security expertise in Safety & Security.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Day to day Security Operational Transactions.
  • Responsible for adhering to Safety & Security Policy and Processes (SOPs)
  • Responsible for vendor management and ensuring Quality of services.
  • Coordinate and support Emergency Preparedness
  • Demonstrate Teaming
Responsible for Day to Day Security Operational Transactions:
  • Manpower planning and deployment.
  • Monitoring of Safety & Security Systems such as Access Control, Fire Safety Systems, Fire Extinguishers, Surveillance Systems, and others necessary from time to time.
  • Conducting Regular Security & Safety Inspection of the Facility and adopting necessary measures for Risk Mitigation from time to time.
  • Ensure AMC is in place for all Safety & Security related assets including replenishment of expired items.
  • Comprehensive Security & Safety related record maintenance & reporting.
  • Issue & management of Access Cards in co-ordination with the HR Team
  • Access Management for Guests / Visitors / Vendors
  • Reconciliation of Access Cards Inventory from time to time with the HR Data.
  • Key/s Management with record keeping for Issue & return.
  • Managing & Regulating the physical Movement of Men and Material
  • Coordinate with SEZ regulatory bodies as applicable for the center
  • Planning & Managing Security & Safety during internal & external events
  • Provide inputs for budgeting the center security & safety needs
  • Coordinate for ISO audits
Responsible for executing standard policy and process (SOPs)
  • Adhering to standard operating procedures for all security & safety inclusive of post & site instructions.
  • Ensure all security related documentation are adhered in the unit / center.
  • Provide site specific observations relating to Risks and Process Improvisation to their reporting Manager / Site or Center Security Lead.
Responsible for Incident Management and Reporting:
  • Incident Response and Reporting without any adverse outcomes.
  • Support conducting Emergency Response Drills.
  • Random checking of Safety and Surveillance equipment.
Emergency Preparedness & BCP Support
  • Report all incidents and provide necessary information on any untoward incident / events
  • On Ground support to Center Lead & Center Security Lead during all crisis situations
  • Building effective Emergency Response Team within the Organization and time to time training
  • Ensuring ERT ratio at the Unit is maintained as per industry standards
  • Coordinate & conduct training/awareness sessions on security and safety for employees/service provider staff
  • Support and Co-ordination for conducting mock evacuation drill
  • Incident Reporting with Root Cause Analysis & measures for non-recurrence in future.
  • First Aid Training & Kit Management.

  • Maintain good collaboration within team members
  • Team development and Career planning
Analytical/Decision Making Abilities and Values:
  • This role requires Individuals who are self-motivated and have good understanding of safety and security process, systems and requirements.
  • Demonstrate integrity, values and hold high moral grounds
Skills and attributes for success
  • Liaison with local law enforcement agencies and government agencies, government regulatory agencies and private industrial security counterparts as and when required
To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Any degree or equivalent
Ideally, you\'ll also have
  • 3 - 6 years of relevant experience in process driven. 3 - 6 years of relevant experience in process driven companies handling a team size of 1 - 2 members.
