This role is located in Chennai, Tamilnadu - HYBRID.In this role, you\xe2\x80\x99ll make an impact in the following ways:AI-ML Developer/ Artificial Intelligence Specialist/ Gen AI Analyst \xe2\x80\x93 3 to 6 years\xe2\x80\x99 ExperienceWe are seeking a highly skilled motivated Generative AI Engineer (GenAI) to join our team, As a Generative AI Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge generative AI models to modernize of legacy Mainframe systems and develop solutions for translating Mainframe code into modern microservices architectures. You will work closely with application teams, software engineers, and product managers to design, build, and deploy AI-powered solutions that enhance our products and services.Key Responsibilities:

• GenAI for COBOL Translation: Research and develop GenAI/Machine Language models specifically designed for analysing and translating COBOL code into microservices-friendly languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go). Optimize models through sophisticated prompt engineering techniques.
• Data Acquisition and Preparation: Build robust data pipelines to collect, clean, and pre-process Mainframe codebases for GenAI model training.
• Model Training and Optimization: Train and fine-tune GenAI models for accurate and efficient COBOL to microservices code translation. Experiment with different architectures, training methodologies, and hyperparameter tuning specific to this translation task.
• Evaluation and Refinement: Develop methods to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of GenAI-generated microservices code. Continuously improve the models based on feedback and real-world testing.
• Vector Database Design and Integration: Select and design vector databases optimized for storing semantic representations of COBOL code and its relationships. Ensure seamless integration between vector databased and GenAI models.
• Collaboration and Integration: Collaborate with software engineers to integrate GenAI models into the overall COBOL modernization pipeline. Ensure seamless interaction between AI and human expertise.
• Staying Current: Actively research the latest advancements in GenAI for code translation and COBOL modernization best practices. Share your knowledge and contribute to the internal development of GenAI-powered solutions for legacy system migration.

Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:

• Graduate/Masters - Artificial Intelligence/Data Analysis
• Years of Experience 3-6
• Proven expertise in deep learning, with a strong understanding of Generative AI models along with machine language (e.g., Transformers, seq2seq models)
• Proficient in Python and have experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms and tools for managing large datasets (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with vector databases is a plus.
• Experience with advanced SQL queries is a plus.
• knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
• Understanding of COBOL/Mainframe Codebase structure is a plus.
• Familiarity with software engineering principles and microservices architecture is highly desirable.
• Analytical Thinking: Strong analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of GenAI models for code translation and identify areas for improvement.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication for presenting complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
