You'll be responsible for ensuring our products are safe for our customers. An integral member of an experienced safety, quality and compliance team, you'll have wide-ranging responsibilities for protecting our consumers. You'll provide expert support to research and development. You'll lead safety assessments, report on potential hazards and ensure we meet regulations. You'll ensure our products continue to give people healthier lives and happier homes.

Your responsibilities

• Deliver effective communication of safety risks and collaborate on strategies to mitigate them.
• Contribute within a technical team responsible for conducting hazard evaluations and human health risk assessments for Reckitt Consumer Healthcare products in accordance with Reckitt policies, guidelines and statutory requirements.
• Preparation and review of safety language labelling to ensure Reckitt products are used as intended.
• Ensure products are properly categorised per regulatory requirements, and appropriate safety documentation are generated by the team to support innovation and the maintenance of the established portfolio.
• Represent Reckitt interests in the area of product safety and stewardship with government agencies, industry associations and other organisations as directed.
• As necessary and in compliance with Reckitt policies, design and/or manage toxicology and safety tests required to support product registration and safety.
The experience we're looking for
------------------------------------


• MSc/PhD in Toxicology and/or a related discipline with at least 2 years+ of relevant regulatory toxicology experience.
• Proven experience in the risk and safety assessment of consumer products. Ability to analyse and interpret scientific literature and toxicological data and document within a formal risk assessment.
• Expertise in the review and analysis of toxicology and related chemical safety data.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholder and represent safety on project meetings. Understanding of safety-relevant regulatory requirements, legislation and policy for consumer products in the US, EU and/or other global regions/countries.
• Expertise in designing, conducting and monitoring toxicological tests preferred.
• Strength in leading and coaching technical teams, preferably in a consumer healthcare company.
• Strong knowledge of global regulatory toxicology guidelines governing the safe development of Consumer healthcare products, particularly those intended for direct skin contact and those classified as medicinal devices, cosmetics or biocides.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in accelerated timelines.
