About Business line/Function :
Global Market Securities Settlements team ensures that Security transactions (Bonds, Equities, Complex Securities, ETF, SLAB, PNS..) and positions registered in the books under CIB ITO's mandate, match the commitment actually taken with counterparties within a secure setup, in accordance with Group and Regulatory Policies and/or contractual agreements.
Handle all tasks related to billing to ensure operational delivery; Participate in the improvement of the quality of service delivered by the Department to the affiliated Sites; Participate in the mitigation of the operational risk.

POSITION PURPOSE

Primary responsibilities of the team includes:
• Ensure timely settlement of Billing
• Monitor / resolve breaks and nostro rec items
• Mitigation of operational and reputational risk by escalating in a timely and efficient manner
• Liaising with clients, brokers / counterparties and other internal support functions for smooth settlement of trades
Acting as a first level escalation contact, it is essential for this role to ensure the team deliverables are met and issues are highlighted to the appropriate groups and stakeholders in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
o Input and verification of fees and interest conditions instructed by stakeholders.
o Ensure efficient management of client related service requests.
o Investigate fees calculated incorrectly / interest conditions and ensure proper communication with the impacted departments.
o Cooperate with team for any operational aspects which require further investigations or additional expertise.
o Perform User acceptance tests in case of changes or enhancements for tools used by the Billing Team.
o Mitigate the operational risk to improve Department efficiency.
o Ensure and control the correct activity during the day in order to guarantee the Department operational delivery.
o Validate if all billing and/or interests are executed in order to guarantee the Department operational delivery.
o Contribute for training according to the needs. Demonstrate ability and proactivity to share knowledge.
o Contribute for projects or internal initiatives.
