SUMMARYWe are looking for a Senior Associate to join the Capacity Building team in New Delhi. This is an exciting opportunity for course development across projects at Wadhwani AI. The individual will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to course creation, stakeholder engagement, workshop coordination and documentation. We are actively seeking individuals who are not only creative but also highly motivated to join our team, playing a crucial role in advancing AI readiness and effecting positive change through AI for social impact. We collaborate with governments, social sector organizations, academic and research institutions, and domain experts to identify real-world problems, and develop practical AI solutions to tackle these issues with the aim of making a substantial positive impact.We have over 30+ AI projects supported by leading philanthropies such as Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, USAID and Google.org. With a team of over 200 professionals, our expertise encompasses AI/ML research and innovation, software engineering, domain knowledge, design and user research.In the Press:SoleCultures page of Wadhwani AI -ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCourse CreationDesign engaging and insightful courses across the diverse domains of our work including AI, design thinking, product management.This material must be tailored to our various stakeholders and audience groups, span a variety of formats and media, and effectively showcase the expertise and competence of the organization, across verticals and domains.Support the capacity building vertical through a multitude of tasks as and when required including but not limited to - deck development, editing, creation of collateral, documentation and workshop organization.Coordinate with different teams and verticals to develop compelling content.Develop and manage project timelines to ensure timely course delivery.Support the Knowledge Building Lead in tasks related to scheduling, prioritization, coordination, and execution of various initiatives.Conduct pilot tests of courses to identify and address any issues before full-scale rollout.Prepare reports on course outcomes and impact for stakeholders.Conduct sessions for course delivery at various locations.Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in knowledge management and organizational learning.Provide strategic insights and develop innovative and effective methods of strengthening Capacity Building initiativesWorkshops OrganisationLead the AI Readiness program, serving as the primary point of contact and take ownership of planning and executing knowledge building workshops, trainings and sessions internally and externally.Work well with cross-functional teams to drive agenda items related to the delivery of events and workshops.Ensure the order and accuracy of presentation decks and content by proactively liaising with the individuals responsible for their maintenance and updates.Constant upgrading of content to keep it up to date with the latest advances in AI.Coordinate logistical aspects for workshops- venue selection, audiovisual requirements and catering with the external teams.Be prepared for occasional travel to various locations for workshop organizations and representation.Support the organization for any online and offline events (webinars, conferences, etc.)REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Social sciences, Human Resources, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in instructional design and course creation.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Interest in working in the intersection of AI and development.
  • Prior experience is creation of technical training materials.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and other training technologies.
  • Ability to manage work independently, keen attention to detail, strong organizational and project management skills, ability to multitask and efficiency in time sensitive situations.
  • Prior experience in organizing workshops and trainings is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, internal teams, donors and partners.
