•Responsibilities•
• •Asset Inventory Management: Creating and maintaining an accurate inventory of all IT assets, including hardware, software, and network devices. This includes tracking details such as asset type, location, owner, and purchase date.•
• •Asset Lifecycle Management: Tracking the lifecycle of all assets from acquisition to disposal. This involves monitoring warranties, maintenance contracts, and upgrade schedules to ensure assets are properly maintained and replaced when necessary.•
• •Asset Tracking and Auditing: Conducting regular audits to ensure that all assets are accounted for and in use. This includes identifying and addressing any discrepancies or missing assets.•
• •Budget Management: Working with IT and finance teams to develop and manage budgets for IT assets. This may involve forecasting future asset needs and making recommendations for cost-effective solutions.•
• •Vendor Management: Building and maintaining relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of assets and negotiate favorable terms for purchases and maintenance contracts.•
• •Risk Management: Identifying potential risks associated with IT assets and implementing strategies to mitigate them. This may include implementing security measures to protect assets from cyber threats.•
• •Asset Disposal: Developing and implementing processes for disposing of assets at the end of their lifecycle. This may involve securely wiping data from devices and properly disposing of hardware.•
• •Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of all assets and providing regular reports to management on asset status, utilization, and costs.•

•Minimum qualifications / Skills•
•Bachelor's Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field•
•Preferred qualifications / Skills•
•Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills with experience of customer interfacing role. In-depth requirement understanding skills with good analytical and problem solving ability, interpersonal efficiency, and positive attitude•
