We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Assistant Vice President - Decision Science


Principal Responsibilities


• Review/create data lineage, data quality validation for Basel models and ensure it is done according to organization set policies.
• Work with multiple stakeholders simultaneously and deliver in a timely, efficient, and effective manner.
• Responsible for delivering one of the many work streams.
• Recruit, on-board, train, coach and develop talent.
• Proactively identify challenges or new opportunities and provide solutions.
• Ensure adherence with all the applicable compliance policies (Data policies, regulatory reporting standards, Functional manual, Group Compliance Manual, Audit recommendations, Internal Control requirements, regulatory guidelines etc.) and business standards of Organization as applicable.
• Take timely action on Audit and Interest Maintain Reserve (IMR) comments and be able to demonstrate compliance with Internal controls.
Requirements
• 7-year bachelor's or master's degree from reputed University with concentration on marketing, finance, economics, or other quantitative field such as statistics or engineering.
• Strong analytical skills with around 8+ years of proven business analysis experience or equivalent. Knowledge and understanding of financial services preferred.
• Exposure of Retail Basel concepts such as Probability of Default (PD), Exposure at Default (EAD), Loss Given Default (LGD), Expected Loss (EL), Risk Weighted Asset (RWA)
• Habit of challenging status quo
• Good knowledge and hands on experience of Model Development OR Model Monitoring of Basel models
• Thorough understanding of retail banking along with project management skills
• Experience on data lineage and data validation is needed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop and effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas.
• Ability to work in cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal skills and drive for success
