Job Title Senior Architect-Test AutomationYour role:Performs the role of a test automation architectProvide technical guidance, review support to the automation team. Support & train test engineers on automationFormulate the automation test strategy for a product/subsystemParticipates in Review of automation deliverablesHandle the estimation, planning , resource identification and risk management activities related to test automationUse/Propose to team on suitable test automation approachAutomation test case development, review, execution, reporting and traceabilityOwnership of completeness of all automation test documentsManages technical communication within team and partners/stakeholdersParticipates in automation improvement initiatives to enhance productivityLook for the opportunities of test automation in the assigned areas.Drive the automation work within the team & aim to achieve committed automation coverageOwnership of Test automation for the scope of work responsibleMentor the junior testers on automation as Subject Matter Expert (SME).Provide status update to management on overall automation progressYou\'re the right fit if:Bachelor degree in engineering or other relevant discipline15+ years of experience on test discipline, test strategy, test automationHands on Experience with automation framework development is preferredExperience in healthcare industry is preferredVery strong Programming skills (preferably C#) is a must.Good experience on automation tools, scripting languages is requiredStrong work Experience with BDD, Gherkin, Specflow, Visual Studio, N unit framework and API testing is a must.Strong experience in application life cycle management tools like ALM/PTC/TFS used for Verification activitiesGood understanding of the defect management procedures and tools.Good understanding of configuration management & related tools is required.Expertise in automation test strategy, test design skills and able to guide the team on these.Good understanding/experience in SAFe way of working.Showcasing knowledge on performance, reliability and load testing through automation.Expertise in development, testing and debugging skills is a mustPersonal Characteristics:Excellent communication and documentation skillsFirm decision maker and shall possess good influencing skillsOpenness to collaborate in interest of project/organizationProactive and self-driven, possesses due sense of urgencyShall be very good technically; possess systems mindset and good problem solving abilitiesWorking with multisite teams, Quality conscious and Process & customer OrientedCoaching capabilitiesAbout Philips
