UBS RecruitingYour teamIn our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client\'s needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods.You will be part of Collateral Operations crew within the Investment Banking division in Mumbai. The team owns the platform responsible for calculating exposure, issuing margin calls and booking and settlement of collateral to mitigate credit risk to UBS. The team is responsible for feature development, modernization and transformation of the platform, amongst other things.The crew is spread across India, Poland, UK, US, and Singapore with the majority presence in India and Poland (Krakow). Most of the pods are co-located.Your expertiseMinimum requirements

• proven track record of building scalable and resilient systems
• sound understanding with ability to apply core and advanced Java concepts (multithreading)
• proven track record of enterprise level application development for 12+ years
• good understanding of cloud based concepts
• familiarity with at least one Version Control System, preferably Git
• excellent communication and problem solving skills
• good understanding of relational database concepts
• aptitude for multithreading

Desirable

• experience in Financial services industry and understanding of financial projects
• experience with Agile mode of working
• practical experience in Java performance tuning
