The Opportunity Vanvin is a professional services firm with its heart in architecture, construction and infrastructure. We are currently growing our team of ARCHITECTS in Gujarat and Delhi-NCR, and call out for experienced professionals who have worked on building design and construction projects for over 10 years in commercial/ transportation/ industrial/ civic sectors etc. and have a sound educational, software and technical grounding to back themselves. Responsibilities: - Verification of drawings received from consultants and confirming the approvals for issue. - Facilitating preparation of design alternatives and reports for the approval of the Management. - Running quality checks and maintaining quality assurance. - Ensuring compliance with project requirements and statutory regulations. - Ability to identify and resolve clash detections with other disciplines. - Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting design and construction processes and progress. - Review of construction work to validate compliance with design and resolving any technical queries. - Preparation of progress reports, benchmarking against project timeline and budget. - Facilitation of material selections and procurement, complying with required specifications. - Collaborating with all stakeholders internally and externally on the project interfaces. - Assisting in change control management and strategizing claims avoidance. Requirements: - Education: B.Arch (essential); M.Arch (advantageous) - Candidate should be a registered Architect licensed to practice in India. - 10 years of post-qualification experience in Building Design and Construction of large-scale projects (building types including but not limited to commercial/ civic/ transport/ industrial etc.). - Conversant with building contracts and familiar with Indian Building Regulations. - Software know-how: Acad, MS Suite (essential); other 3D software (advantageous). The selected candidates will be offered a competitive salary which is commensurate based on their experience.
