Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Techno-Functional Specialist with 4 - 6 years of experience in Oracle TMS (Transportation Management Systems). Senior Applications Developer is responsible for formulating and defining system scope and objectives on a team that supports our Logistics systems (transportation, EDI, compliance, etc.) for numerous applications.The Role devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering equipment capacity, limitations, operating time, and desired results. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs are written. Designs, codes, tests, debug, and documents programs. Leads configuration, deployment and troubleshooting for packaged software. Typically reports to Manager. May provide input for associate evaluations. Capable of leading development team within any project. Demonstrates subject matter expertise in multiple applications and functions. Adept in working as part of a global team.Preferred: experience with logistics applications, warehouse management applications or transportation management applications.Key Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Design, Configure, implement, and support Oracle TMS/GTM solutions.\xc2\xb7 Participate in meetings with users to determine requirements and scope.\xc2\xb7 Contribute towards the recommendation of standards/directions/technologies.\xc2\xb7 Complete detailed functional design deliverables.\xc2\xb7 Assist In technical design deliverables.\xc2\xb7 Capable of completing key Project Management deliverables for small to medium product development efforts including Requirements Definition, Design, Build and Test phases.\xc2\xb7 Facilitate and actively participate in technology activities as they relate to the Technology, Server Management and Operations groups.\xc2\xb7 Support the installation, configuration, engineering, and management of complex environments that includes multiple operating system platforms and network topologies.\xc2\xb7 Review detailed and technology design deliverables.\xc2\xb7 Code, test, document and implement programs with high complexity levels.\xc2\xb7 Participate in and contribute towards cross-functional teams where system interface activity may occur.\xc2\xb7 Participate in on-call support activities.\xc2\xb7 Identify and correct application software problems. Assist/perform peer code reviews.\xc2\xb7 Code, test, document and implement application enhancements and corrections.\xc2\xb7 Monitor and resolve system performance issues.\xc2\xb7 Mentor and train other team members in area of expertise.\xc2\xb7 Assist end users in resolving and identifying system issues by providing application knowledge and technical expertise Assist users through creation and execution of test plan.\xc2\xb7 Train users in use of new system\xc2\xb7 Participate in generation of user documentation.\xc2\xb7 Assist Leads in the development of technical training plans for Programmer and Programmer AnalystsVS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.QualificationsRequired Skills and Qualifications:\xc2\xb7 Experience in Oracle TMS and/or logistics packaged applications.\xc2\xb7 Oracle TMS exposure is a must need.\xc2\xb7 Experience on Web Services.\xc2\xb7 Solid understanding of the Transportation & Logistics domain.\xc2\xb7 Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and integration technologies.\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of application deployment processes.\xc2\xb7 Familiarity with cloud frameworks, preferably Azure.\xc2\xb7 Experience in cloud automation and elastic job management.\xc2\xb7 Good to have experience with Oracle BI or similar applications.\xc2\xb7 Demonstrated experience in both development and testing environments.\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills.\xc2\xb7 Strong ability to work independently and engage with customer stakeholders.
