Your Responsibilities



Activities in Development or Implementation or Managed Service activity streams as a Technical Consultant. Your responsibilities include:


Work as Senior Technical team member in Managed Service activity streams providing solutions and support for issues raised by client in production environment and coordination with other Oracle teams at client locations or offshore teams for related activities. Provide technical services in issue troubleshooting and resolution from offshore in co-ordination with the onsite team. Liaise with Oracle Global Support and Product engineering teams on a case to case basis for any issues raised by the client in providing the required resolutions. Provide on call support for High Severity incidents. Use defined standards/tools/processes to achieve deliverables that meet quality expectations of Oracle / Client. Coordinate with and assist various stakeholders in projects for implementation of Patch set, fixes etc. He/she will need to successfully manage Customer Relationship and respond / address any initial escalations from Customer Document all work in accordance with agreed standards/processes applicable for Oracle / Client. Adhere to defined Change Control Process of Oracle / Client. Comply with Oracle / Client audit / Compliance requirements. Ensure quality code delivery. Ability to translate business requirements into technology or design specifications Plan, manage and communicate the progress of the project, achieving project milestones and maintaining momentum of the project Perform proper handover / knowledge transfer at end of each assignment. Timely status reporting to supervisor. Hands on Expertise in Deployments and Backup/Restore Operations Timely submission of timesheets and expenses for Oracle / Clients.



Your Qualifications



You possess experience in end-to-end Support activities covering expertise areas such as Coding and Unit testing, executing Test cycle rounds including End of Days, migrations and Integrations for Oracle's Banking products Proven ability to lead medium to large technical team and guide them in their deliverables in Development or Implementation or Managed Service activities You possess knowledge and skills in software programming in Core Java, J2EE, , Rest API, JavaScript, XML. Experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle Database You should have experience in procedures, triggers and functions You have working knowledge of Release management and Source control tools You should be able to perform Issue Tracking on Application and follow-up for resolution of same with stakeholders You possess good client interaction skills in areas including presentation of solutions You have exposure to software deployment and troubleshooting on Application Server software especially Oracle Weblogic You have exposure to analysis of Oracle Database AWR/ADDM reports and troubleshooting of database performance issues. You should be able to demonstrate experience in translating customer business requirements into workable business solutions either as software solutions or as re-engineering initiatives You should have very good knowledge of banking terminologies, concepts and processes You possess good Team management skills You possess IT skills including Microsoft Office You possess good communication & documentation skills in English

Secondary Skills



You have exposure to Banking Domain and Functional knowledge of Banking systems You have exposure to software development processes and practices, DevOps tools, Testing tools You are aware of latest technologies in Banking You should have hands-on Development, Implementation and / or production support experience with any Core Banking product, ideally Oracle Banking Platform or Oracle FELXCUBE suite of products Experience on development and implementation of Interfaces, Batch operations, Trouble shooting, and resolution of issues encountered in Testing cycles

Experience



Experience of 8 to 10 years Experience in development and / or implementation and / or support of core banking applications.

Educational and Other Qualifications



Should hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent degree

Work Environment



Should be willing to work at offshore as well as travel to client locations Should be willing to take up Technical certifications related to Oracle Banking Products in functional areas as and when required. Ability to work in a high pressure, fast moving and challenging environment Team player Ready to work from office/ODC 3 days in a week
