Do you want to work in Application Support Team Do you enjoy Developing Analytical methods in HPLC We are currently seeking a Senior Application Scientist who will be responsible for designing and performing method development support for applications in the market. What we\'ll get you doing: Ability to independently research, develop, and present solution-oriented separation and sample preparation methods for \'hot areas\' based on Phenomenex technology and products. Work with R&D, Sales and Marketing to provide input for relevant content for brochures, website, and seminars Effectively lead application development projects including proper planning, resource allocation, control and completion. Ability to interpret and report results after an extensive check of the raw data quality and critical results analysis. Aid in the trouble shooting and technical support of customers and distributors worldwide. The essential requirements of the role include: B.Sc. in Chemistry or life science/ B.Pharm with 7 years of relevant HPLC, UHPLC and/or LC-MS/MS experience. M.S. in Chemistry or life science/M.Pharm with 5 years HPLC, UHPLC and/or LC-MS/MS experience, or Ph.D. in Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry with 3 years of HPLC, UHPLC and/or LC-MS/MS experience. Prior experience working in an analytical laboratory is a must. Experience developing, HPLC-UV/DAD/ELSD, UHPLC-UV, and other assays for pharmaceutical formulations (ideally also involving sample preparation). Thorough understanding of stationary phase characteristics and method development parameters like Mobile phase, pH, etc. Experience in complex method development and troubleshooting.Must be objective and measurable, eg. education, years of experience per GCRF job leveling guidelines (do not cap years of experience), specific systems proficiency or industry experience. Do not include soft skills. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Strong problem solving and analysis skills Ability to adapt to and handle competing departmental needs. Willing to relocate (if necessary) and willing to travel up to 30%.
