ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Data Services team within (CLIENT OF QQ) has the mission to build, disseminate and support a strong data-driven decision-making culture in the company and to leverage data trends, products, and services to create superior products, resolve complex data challenges, and create business value. Data Science and Machine Learning is one of the key trends actively being pursued. In this role you will understand the challenges of the business and offer the best solutions using data analysis, model ing and data processing. This also includes performing predictive analysis and working with "unstructured/disorganized" data to offer actionable insights to help business users make better decisions as well as be a leader for peers and potentially direct reports.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS

? Help implementing the strategy for Cloud Data and BI Platforms (Data Factory, Databricks and ML)

? Integrating requirements with the Business Process/Product Owners to define/evaluate process

enhancements and translate user requirements into technical specifications to develop/deploy

? Help build a data landscape and capability including the administration and configuration of the datastorage

? Establish a culture of continuous improvements in reporting standards across the company

? Obtaining relevant datasets and contributing to the development of (CLIENT OF QQ) data lake

? Preparing the data (cleansing, munging, wrangling)? Exploring and visualizing (so as to make sense out) data

? Experimenting, prototyping, and developing machine learning models (training and validating)

? Making machine learning models deployable? Monitoring performance of deployed models and continuously improving them? Ensuring alignment with business challenges all along the process

? Building machine learning capability at (CLIENT OF QQ) (best practices, knowledge sharing) andkeeping abreast of developments in the field? Contributing to the formulation of (CLIENT OF QQ) Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning strategy.COMPETENCIES? Excellent knowledge of cloud data platforms and tools such as Data Factory, Data Lake, Databricks

? Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role? Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture

? Deep knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics and algorithms? Ability to write robust code in Python, Java and R

? Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills? Strong ability to work in teams? Delivery orientated mindset / culture

? Familiarity with an agile environment

Shows honesty and truthfulnessQUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE? Internationally recognized university degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business.

? Advanced experience in Azure Data Lake, Databricks and Data Factory? Experienced with Python and SQL

? Experience in managing, manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets from multiple sources

? Fluency in English (other languages are considered as valuable assets)

? An Azure certification is an asset especially within Data Engineering and/or Science.

? Knowledge about AI/ML and experience with applied AI solutions is an asset.

Pay: ?373,893.32 - ?1,000,000.00 per year
