Role: Senior Analyst - Investment Support Specialist - Fixed Income
Purpose: The Investment Support Specialist for the Asia Fixed Income Specialist team shall endeavour to fulfil the ambitions defined and outlined for the team by Head Fixed Income Specialists Asia. The analyst will be responsible for conducting product due diligence, create bond factsheets, keeping internal systems up to date on data relating to fixed income instruments, as well as to support the Asia Fixed Income Specialist team on the production of various publications and presentation materials. Responsibilities:
- Responsible for conducting product due diligence on fixed income instruments, generate pre-trade bond factsheets and keeping internal systems up to date on data relating to fixed income instruments.
- Respond to Relationship Managers request on prospectus, product due diligence & bond factsheet on fixed income instruments.
- Conduct product due diligence on funds for the Asia Funds Specialist team.
- Support the Asia Fixed Income Specialist team on the production of various publications and presentation materials.
- Work collaboratively with the Investment Specialists to ensure all assigned tasks are completed accurately on a timely basis.
Experience & Skills
- Relevant higher educational and professional background with 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
- Basic fundamentals of investment products and experience in applying a global portfolio approach across all asset classes.
- Proficiency in Desktop applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and financial information/data systems (e.g. Bloomberg, Datastream).
- Background in simple programming and quantitative analysis will be preferable.
- Strong commercial judgement, business acumen and sound understanding of global investment industry, markets and products.
- Fast learner and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Keen eye for detail when publishing content.
- Good communication/coordination skills to deal with different stakeholders .
- Language Skills: Proficiency in English (oral and written).
