Job Title: Senior Analyst - PowerBICareer Level - D1Introduction to role:We are on the lookout for a dynamic and experienced PowerBI Solution Owner to join our newly formed Field Reporting Service Team. This team supports the US BBU (Biopharmaceuticals Business Unit) Strategic Field Operations (SFO) department and AZ\'s US BBU Field Force for their Reporting & Analytics needs. If you have a solid background in PowerBI development and implementation, with at least 6 years of relevant experience, we want to hear from you!Accountabilities:As a Solution Owner, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of PowerBI solutions to meet the needs of our business partners. You will interpret evolving SFO needs, capture requirements, translate them into technical terms, and collaborate with the Field Reporting Service Team to develop and oversee technology solutions addressing business challenges.Essential Skills/Experience:Bachelor\'s degree in data analytics, business, or related fieldDemonstrated ability in PowerBI development and implementation.Strong proficiency in PowerBI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and data visualization best practices.Experience with data modeling and data warehouse concepts.Consistent track record of delivering high-quality PowerBI solutions on time and within budget.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical collaborators.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.Proficient, with 2+ years of recent experience in data analysis tools such as Excel, VBA, SQL, Python, AWS (Amazon Web Services), Databricks & ETL is highly desirableProficient with syndicated and custom, primary, and secondary data, with inferential analysis and ability to identify insights from dataDirect experience with Pharma sales performance and sales execution data sets (e.g. IQVIA, eLAAD, Xponent, Veeva CRM)Ability to work cross-functionally with multi-functional and international teamsDemonstrated record of accomplishment of effective business partnership as demonstrated by business impact and ability to influence othersAbility to derive, summarize and communicate insights from analyses.Desirable Skills/Experience:Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a substantial number of business stakeholders and cross-functional business partnersEffective communication and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to develop and effectively present succinct, compelling reviews of independently developed analyses infused with insight and business implications/actions to be consideredStrategic and critical thinking with the ability to engage, build and maintain credibility with Commercial Leadership TeamKnowledge of AZ brand and science is highly desirableWhen we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines.
