We leverage new technologies and find innovative methods to ensure that Lowe's has a competitive edge in the market.We are looking for an Analyst / Sr Analyst Finance, Digital Business, who can understand Online Retail Business and drive data-based decisions.
To be successful one should have :

• Strong understanding of online retail operations & financial concepts.
• Basic understanding of SQL, BI, data analytics & data visualization methods to shorten fatigue & effort in development
• Have a high bias towards accurate & timely delivery
• Focus on robust analysis that can be actioned by business
• Understand and be able to translate operational & technology metrics into financial impact

About the TeamThe team partners with the Digital e-Commerce (Lowes.com) teams to drive business outcomes in a financially prudent manner. It is responsible for providing analyses, insights and reporting that help identify drivers of performance and guide appropriate tactical actions to improve financial outcomes.The team is tasked to deliver insightful and proactive financial analysis that drive fact based, data driven decision making around the digital business.Core Responsibilities:Reporting & analysing Online business performance from various angles and surfacing insights for Executive reviewsLearning and exploring data with focus on understanding business drivers and identifying forward-looking opportunitiesCommunicating complex analysis and insights to stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing.Metrics and Reports - Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.Collaborating across analytics & finance teams to learn, identify existing tools that can be leveraged / tweaked for business problems to ensure time spent on analysis & speed of deliveryHas inclination & is to learn modern forecasting & analysis techniques that use statistical packages like R / PythonRequired Qualifications:Strong financial modeling, Analysis and Excel skills.2-5 years of prior experience in retail analytics/ financial analytics.1 year of experience working as a member of a online retail or relevant cross-functional team1 year of experience analyzing data to detect trends, make recommendations, and provide reportingPreferred Qualifications:Experience in retail domain.Experience collaborating across time zonesExperience working in a large matrixed organizationExperience supporting large technology programsPrimary Skills (must have)Working experience in financial analytics preferably in Retail/Online business.Basic understanding of SQL for data querying.working experience with BI tools (Power BI, Microstrategy, Qlikview, Datastudio, Tableau etc)Secondary Skills (desired)Prior experience of using Adobe Analytics for web analyticsUnderstanding & experience in Python / R based analytical packagesGood background in statistical modellingLowe's is an equal opportunity employer and administers all personnel practices without regard to race, color, religious creed, sex, gender, age, ancestry, national origin, mental or physical disability or medical condition, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, military or veteran status, genetic information, or any other category protected under federal, state, or local law.
