REPONSIBILITIES

  • Deploys new IT infrastructure architecture based on approved designs.
  • Drives problem resolutions that have been escalated. Implements fixes for performance issues.
  • Participates on cross functional teams to assist in design IT infrastructure architecture.
  • \xc2\xbf Strong understanding and competence in virtual computing environment.
  • Utilizes technical knowledge in cross-functional and intra-departmental efforts.
Key Responsibility:
  • Responsible to carry our BAU day to Day activities.
  • Responsible of executing Project related activities.
  • Responsible for VMware vSphere 6.7/7.0, UCS, ESXi & Client Server troubleshooting, upgrades, and firmware management
  • Responsible for analyzing vulnerabilities in PCI compliance report, prepare remediation plan, test, deploy remediation steps.
  • Help in the gathering of data for capacity planning and performance analysis of infrastructure. Vendor Coordination to resolve hardware and software issues & Follow-ups till Closure
  • Responsible for monthly operating system ESXi, Client Server, VM (OS & Linux) patches installation and upgradation
  • Have experience in preparing SOP & MOP documents preparation for critical activities.
  • Responsible for the development and refinement of operational best practices as it relates to Virtustream Enterprise Cloud platform management & support.
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies and products, including attaining certifications and participation in industry events as appropriate to continue to drive improved methodologies into the organization.
  • Assist in the development of automation tools.
  • Provides appropriate level of support and troubleshooting for incidents across the environment and escalates to next Tier if needed.
  • Exercises considerable attitude in determining technical objectives, without appreciable direction.
  • Utilizes a variety of internal and external sources to investigate technology, build knowledge, and resolve incidents.
  • Review documentation, diagrams, configurations, standard operating procedures, and tools and regularly contributes to internal knowledgebase and departmental documentation.
  • Maintains professional demeanor under pressure possessing a can-do attitude, to keep the resolution process moving in a positive direction.
  • Familiar with VMware infrastructure builds and Management.
  • Experience in Managing cloud infrastructure services and ability to adopt new technologies.

  • Relevant experience of 3+ Years of experience on the below responsibilities
  • Looking for L2/L3 skills in below core technologies, requires skills in one or more of the following areas:
  • Compute - VMware vSphere 6.7/7.0, Client UCS blade & rack-mount servers, UCS Manager, Client servers
  • Operating Systems - Windows, RHEL, Suse, CentOS, Ubuntu
  • Virtualization - VMware vSphere, ESXi
  • Scripting - PowerShell or Python, etc.
  • PCI Compliance and vulnerability management
  • Willing to work 24*7 rotational shifts.
  • High accountability for results
  • Understanding of ITIL / ITSM process with experience in ticketing (Service Now) tool.
Desirable requirements:
  • VMware VCP
  • MCSE/RHEL
  • ITIL Foundation
  • VMware 6.7 or 7.0, OS (Linux/Windows), Hardware Troubleshooting skill, ITIL Process (Incident, Problem, Change & Service Request Management), Scripting, Servicenow Ticket logging Tool
  • Skill Certification:6.7 or 7.0 VCP , RHEL./MCSE (preferred)
