We combine the BrandZ research data with financial data to compile a number of annual brand rankings.We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic to join our team at Kantar BrandZ as a Senior Analyst. This is a unique opportunity for a candidate with a passion for financial analysis, market research, and branding to excel within our ambitious environment. As a Senior Analyst, you will have the chance to develop expertise in brand valuation and take the lead in regional valuations/rankings.   • Conduct financial analysis to calculate attribution rates for brands in the BrandZ rankings using financial statements and third-party market data.
  • Input all relevant information into our web-based valuation system, ensuring accuracy and correctness.
  • Justify changes in financial value and brand value at global and country levels by referencing financial results and sector trends/brand news.
  • Prepare brand valuation universe to determine which brands to include or exclude from the ranking.
  • Address ad hoc requests and inquiries regarding the BrandZ rankings from within Kantar and clients.
  • Continuously improve the valuation process and suggest re-engineering opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in financial statement analysis.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ability to integrate multiple data sources in a brand valuation.
  • Strong data management and analytical skills.
  • Ability to challenge and rationalize previous financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of valuing a company/brand and willingness to update existing valuation models.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet publication deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships with internal teams and clients.
  • Positive and professional attitude, working well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactively seek and capitalize on new business opportunities that arise from the BrandZ rankings.
