Job Responsibilities :

. Job Purpose Responsible for analysing International Oil& Gas Business Environment
# To support the liaising activity with Energy Consultants/ Retainers/ Reporting services for providing necessary information to R& M business
# To provide organized data / basis for inputs to management for strategic decision.
# To maintain a central document repository for use across the R&M organisation Key Accountabilities Track and prepare analysis pertaining to crucial market trends/ information such as supply/demand data, price quotes, freight rates, arbitrage opportunities etc.
# Compilation of above in formation from periodic market reports / external data sources such as Platts, Argus, Reuters, ICE etc., 3rd party consultants
# forecasts #Clean the data that arrives from various sources (check for gaps in curves, errors and outliers)
#Collect all market related data received by the company and centralize in one data repository.
#Maintain online document repository to provide historical and current marketing formation from our consultants
# Perform analyses for in-house market studies for business groups as required / specified from time to time
# Prepare Monthly Business Environment Update
# Prepare Quarterly Refinery/Petchem sites Capacity Additions report
#Prepare presentations and write-ups for Annual and Quarterly Board meetings
# Prepare relevant sections for Quarterly media release and Investor presentation # Prepare analytical reports comparing performance of other refineries
# Provide feedback to team members as appropriate.
# Attend national/International seminars/conferences to identify current threats/opportunities in R& M Business
# Attend internal and external training courses pertaining to relevant topics to enhance work performance In addition, the position may require work related to the following activities
#Draw and manage contracts of our Retainers/ Energy Consultants and liaison closely with them for market information time to time
# Ensure timely payments to our Retainers/Energy Consultants

Role holder will have below additional Job Accountabilities in this position:

• Co-ordination with Sites and Cracker Business Group for Ethane (feedstock) requirement
• Co-ordination with O2C team and NG Business for Ethane (fuel) requirement
• Monitoring vessels arrival schedule and consumption to update Ethane stocks forward outlook
• Liaising with ports for nominating loading and discharge windows basis vessel itinerary
• Tracking and reporting profitability vs alternate feedstocks
• Preparing MIS reports as required by management

Education Requirement : Economics, accounting, engineering or business management degree Outstanding academic credentials

Experience Requirement : 3-4 years of experience in International Oil & Gas Analytics and liaising with external energy, overall experience of 8-9 years in oil & gas industry.

Skills & Competencies :

Detailed understanding of various factors of oil & Gas markets affecting the fundamentals of demand, supply and prices in different geographies.
Good familiarity with energy reporting services (eg. Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg,etc.)and is updated in new information sources on the market
Excellent understanding and skill to organize and manipulate large databases in Excel
Excellent quantitative analysis skills Excellent writing and verbal communication skills Good understanding of refinery technology & processes
