Job Description

This position will be responsible for maintaining Products in the Product Data Hub, with a focus on attaining a high degree of product data quality for both existing and going requests, building the Enterprise product cross-reference for all groups, and eliminating errors and duplicate records. The position is responsible to cleanse and maintain product attributes across the Hydraulics group.The position also Communicates with business stakeholders, technical teams, and the Enterprise Architecture group. Job Responsibilities Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. Lead processing of activities aligned to business goalsfor PDH(data integrity,definition ofstandards,implement businessrules, training) Point of contact for FC data integrity issues Engage in process and team level initiatives in improvingbusiness process Mentor team members Assist knowledge creation and retention activities Works with Product Data Hub tools to build a centralized product database for Hydraulic Product lines. Experience in Product Lifecycle Management, product development and management exposure. Good exposure to working on Tools and applications like Enovia, CAD-2D/3D, Pro-E, PLM, ERP systems. Develop measures of Product data quality, maintain metrics, and publish to stakeholders. Publish reports. Works with different Source systems (Product drawings, ERPs, etc .) to source product attributes and specifications. Ability to present details of complex data quality or workflow issues for internal review Work with source system owners and technical team to extract product data for consumption. Background & Skills The ideal candidate possesses these skills. B-Tech./B.E. Mechanical engineering with 4-6 Years of experience in Product data management. Strong knowledge of Hydraulics productse.g.FC, PMC, Valves Experience with data management and governance Proficiency in 3D modeling tools like Creo Understanding of product lifecycle management Effective communication skills Experience in Enovia, ERP Systems, Oracle and Microsoft business suite, Document Management, PowerSource Expertise in MS-Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Experience of developing excel macros will be an added advantage.
