As a Senior Analyst, Databricks, you will understand business challenges and offer optimal solutions through data analysis, modeling, and processing. This includes performing predictive analysis and working with unstructured data to provide actionable insights that help business users make better decisions. Additionally, you will lead peers and potentially manage direct reports.

Primary Responsibilities / Key Result Areas:

• Implement the strategy for Cloud Data and BI Platforms (Data Factory, Databricks, and ML).
• Integrate requirements with Business Process/Product Owners to define and evaluate process enhancements, translating user requirements into technical specifications for development and deployment.
• Build a data landscape and capability, including the administration and configuration of data storage.
• Establish a culture of continuous improvement in reporting standards across the company.
• Obtain relevant datasets and contribute to the development of CLIENT
• data lake.
• Prepare data through cleansing, munging, and wrangling.
• Explore and visualize data to derive meaningful insights.
• Experiment, prototype, and develop machine learning models, including training and validation.
• Ensure machine learning models are deployable and monitor their performance for continuous improvement.
• Align all processes with business challenges.
• Build machine learning capability at CLIENT through best practices and knowledge sharing.
• Stay abreast of developments in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
• Contribute to the formulation of CLIENT AI and ML strategy.

Competencies:

• Excellent knowledge of cloud data platforms and tools such as Data Factory, Data Lake, and Databricks.
• Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role.
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
• Deep knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, and algorithms.
• Ability to write robust code in Python, Java, and R.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Internationally recognized university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business.
• Advanced experience in Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and Data Factory.
• Experience with Python and SQL.
• Experience in managing, manipulating, processing, and extracting value from large datasets from multiple sources.
• Fluency in English; other languages are considered valuable assets.
• Azure certification in Data Engineering and/or Science is an asset.
• Knowledge of AI/ML and experience with applied AI solutions is an asset.
