The adventure begins right here, with you, at SITA.ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAMAs Senior Analyst Business Finance, you will be responsible for providing financial support to the business area ensuring compliance with deadlines and accounting standards whilst pro-actively challenging the business and its financial performance. You will deliver efficiency gains through continuous work practice improvements, adopt and share best practices whenever applicable and always ensure scrupulous compliance to SITA policies processes and guidelines. Reporting to the Senior Manager Business Finance, you will be a part of the Business Finance department responsible for the finance, legal and corporate services. So, whether you are curious or seriousapply now!WHAT YOULL DOProvide financial support to the relevant business team by:

• Ensuring timely and accurate accounting entries for the business team, producing and controlling the period end results (Monthly & Year-end)
• Performing analysis and reporting of financial results
• Providing Financial controlling and support for projects
• Participating in monthly reviews with P&L or cost owners
• Completing and supporting the forecast process (at required granularity level)
• Supporting key business partners with ad-hoc queries and analysis
• Completing the budgeting process including support for the settlement of interlock reviews with relevant parties

Play an active role in Cost Controlling:

• Verify the accuracy of cost accounting - reconcile performance to budget/forecast
• Provide consistent and standard cost analysis across the business
• Verify the accuracy of costs reporting through monthly/quarterly/yearly reports
• Apply SITA standard methods and guidelines for cost allocation
• Providing financial support to evaluate and simulate financial scenarios

Confirm and validate integrity of results recorded by:

• Ensuring alignment between Statutory reporting and Management reporting results
• Confirming IFRS and accounting policies compliance
• Supporting the Audit activity
• Playing an active role in the Balance Sheet control activity

Be actively involved in the financial control activities by

• Ensuring alignment with capitalization best practices
• Ensuring alignment with tax compliance activities
• Ensuring alignment with corporate practices and standards
• Ensuring alignment with the cost allocation methods and standard

Support delivery of improvement plans or special projects to increase the overall quality of the business finance function.ABOUT YOUR SKILLS

• University degree in Finance or Accounting is imperative
• Membership of a relevant Finance/Accounting accreditation body desirable
• Good knowledge of International accounting standards
• Minimum 5 years work experience preferably within a large international company with a matrix business structure
• Experience working as a finance business partner is an advantage
• Management Accounting practice
• Financial and Budget Control experience essential
• Proficient knowledge and understanding of Financial Systems and processes is critical (Competence in Oracle, Hyperion, OneStream, PowerBI, Excel)
• Attention to details & quality control skills
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to communicate with internal customers
• Good analytical & presentation capabilities
• Good knowledge of international accounting standards
